Our central offices and workshops are located in Gijón, a city in the province of Asturias (Northern Spain), in Polígono Industrial Bankunión II, Avda. de la Agricultura, 24-28.
The company's facilities consist of two industrial buildings and mobile installations:
One 2,000 m2 building, equipped with two bridge cranes for boilermaking, welding and adjustment, with an 1,350 m2 yard equipped with gantry cranes for the manufacture of large parts as well as blasting and painting, and the corresponding office premises.
One 458 m2 building with an upstairs warehouse to store safety material and files, and a changing room, canteen and washrooms downstairs. This building is used to repair machines, tooling and as a warehouse for machines and vehicles. It is equipped with bridge crane.
M.T.I. has suitable productive means to meet the needs of our clients. The following can be highlighted:
Toolroom machinery
- Laser cutting of parts up to 12000x3000x20 in cs.
- Plasma cutting of parts up to 12000x3000x30.
- Laser pipe cutting and drilling up to 500 mm diameter, 6000 mm length...
- Powder coating chains for whole parts up to 6000x600x2000.
- Paint booths for parts up to 12000x4000x4000.
- Folding press, 300 Tm strength / 4 m length.
- Plate roller, 32 mm.
- Guillotine shear, 16 mm.
- Circular saw and band saw 400x400.
Welding and heat treatment
- Welding machines d.c. 220/380/440 V and up to 600 A, high frecuency.
- TIG welding equipment from 180 to 600 A.
- Semiautomatic welding machines.
- Electrode regeneration ovens.
- Maintenance drying ovens.
- Electronic machines for resistance stress relieving (6 simultaneous working points) up to 24 mm diameter and 35 mm thickness.
- Autonomous welding machines c.c. Hobart 400 A.
